ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI LANDFILL PROJECT
In pursuit of its commitment to sustainable environmental management, AngloGold Ashanti Ghana (AGAG) Ltd-Obuasi Mine has completed the construction of two landfills. The third landfill project, Cell 3, awarded to Golden Mainland, is for the construction of an engineered landfill for non-hazardous waste to facilitate waste disposal and implementation of a Waste Management Plan for the Mine.
